November 1-25 -- Contact Period, except November 10-13 -- Dead Period

IMLCA Pushes Legislation to Adopt Division II Recruiting Calendar

 

The IMLCA has been working with the NCAA staff and selected all-sport conferences to create proposed legislation that would create a recruiting calendar in Division II.

The proposed legislation would be considered by the NCAA membership during the January 2009 NCAA Convention.

Hank Janczyk, Gettysburg, becomes the fifth coach in history to win 300 games.

Joins Jack Emmer (326), Jim Berkman (308+), Dick Garber (300), Dave Urick (305+) as the only coaches with 300 or more wins.

 

 IMLCA ANNOUNCES

IMLCA BOSTON MARKET HUMANITARIAN AWARD

The Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA)announces the IMLCA Boston Market Humanitarian Award, which will recognize student-athletes for their strategies and efforts in addressing community needs with campus-based efforts.

All current men’s varsity collegiate lacrosse players are eligible for the Award.  Coaches can nominate players for the award through the IMLCA website.
 
Nomination deadline is October 31, 2008.

IMLCA Clinic

Register Now

The 2008 Clinic will be held at the Baltimore Marirott Waterfront Hotel.

The USILA meetings will take place Thursday, December 11, and Friday morning, December 12.

The IMLCA Clinic begins at Noon Friday, December 12 and concludes Sunday, December 14.
